Jean-Pierre Hartmann is a clinical psychologist working in the public CAMHS system straddling primary, district and specialist services. He heads the primary health care outreach, capacitation as well as intersectoral collaboration.

Previously he was based at several primary care facilities seeing only children, adolescents and their families. It was in this role that he started working more closely with non-mental health professionals as well as those important roleplays from other departments. 

In terms of therapeutic orientation Jean-Pierre is a certified schema therapist as well as a Level 2 Attachment Based Family Therapist. He is committed to pragmatic real-world evidence based interventions that are meaningful to children adolescents and their caregivers. He applies some of these family system sensitivities to the work in public health systems.
