WHO | PM+ training manual is available

Dear all,

Problem Management Plus (PM+) is one of WHO’s most used psychological intervention manuals, empirically tested and used in numerous countries around the world to help adults impaired by distress in communities exposed to adversity. It is available in individual and group format. We are delighted to announce the publication of an accompanying training manual. The training manual is designed for people or organizations wanting to train helpers to deliver individual PM+. In 2026 we will release the training for group PM+

The training consists of 10 days (approximately 80 hours). Part A covers key information for setting up and implementing individual PM+, including how to use the manual, training and supervision requirements and how to deliver training and conduct competency-based assessments. Part B provides detailed instructions for delivering a training.
