Mindscapes - Adolescent Expression | [Poetry] Good evening, Great Disturber

Good evening, Great Disturber

Good evening, Great Disturber
What’ll be my burden tonight?
Will you have pity on me for once?
Don’t you see the hatred that I fight?

My muse was oh so graceful
She would always sing with me
You turned her poem into a requiem
You did it so carefree!

I will do what you desire
I’ll follow your demands
Be wary, ‘cause bones
Will break - they do not bend

So listen to me for once
There’s nothing else I strive (for)
But to sing the songs I want
And for my muse to be alive.
