Professor Christian Kieling, MD, PhD
Professor Kieling is a child and adolescent psychiatrist from Porto Alegre, Brazil. His research focuses on depression in adolescence, youth mental health, early identification, risk stratification, and preventive strategies, with a particular interest in translating epidemiological and developmental findings into public health and clinical practice. He is the Principal Investigator of the Identifying Depression Early in Adolescence (IDEA) consortium.
