Hesham Hamoda, MD, MPH

Hesham Hamoda, MD, MPH is a Senior Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist at Boston Children’s Hospital and an Assistant Professor at Harvard Medical School.   He has served as a consultant for the WHO and designed global mental health programs grounded in collaborative care that are innovative, scalable, and impactful.  Dr. Hamoda completed his Psychiatry training at the Harvard South Shore Program followed by a Fellowship in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School. He also holds a master's degree in public health from the Harvard Chan School of Public Health in Global Health.

 

At IACAPAP he has served as a Vice President, Communications Director and Presidential Fellow. He is also the Bulletin Editor and manages social media accounts for IACAPAP. He is the recipient of the IACAPAP Medal and the IACAPAP International Contribution Award.
